Be female in real life!
Have a livejournal
In order to verify that you are female you must have or do one of the following things...
30 day old livejournal (at least). If your journal is friends locked, we may ask to temporarily become your friend so we can see them.
A sister-rank member of the guild to vouch for your female-ness.
Speak with an officer on Ventrilo
Having one of the above does not guarantee that you will get into the guild. An officer may ask to get back to you on your membership, and if that is the case please make sure to arrange a time to speak with that officer later on. Regardless of the state of your livejournal, an officer may still ask you to log in to Ventrilo to speak with her.
In order to join, please follow these steps:
Log in to the game with the character you would like invited.
Join the chat channel "dota". Do this by typing "/join dota" into the chat window.
When you join, you should see a message saying something like "You have joined 4. dota". In this case, "4" is the number you use to chat in that channel. So in order to say "hello, is an officer around?" I would type "/4 Hello, is an officer around?"
If an officer is on, they will speak with you and go through the steps to invite you. Please be prepared to give them your livejournal name and log onto ventrilo to chat if necessary.
